Todd Hull was born and raised in a small town in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Todd graduated from West Virginia University in August 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an area of emphasis in Pre-Law and Legal Studies, alongside two minors in Philosophy and Theatre. Todd is thrilled to be a Washington College of Law J.D. candidate for the class of 2019; throughout his education at WCL, he plans to focus his studies in the field of Human Rights/Humanitarian Law with hopes to learn and prepare to help preserve the rights of people throughout the world.

Alex comes from Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked at the Queens District Attorney’s Office, Special Victims Bureau before coming to WCL. He is interested in Human Rights law, criminal law, as well as the intersection of science and the law. After law school he hopes to work in human rights law.

Maria is currently a 2L. She is originally from South Carolina, where she attended Clemson University. After college, Maria worked at a litigation law firm in Charleston, then moved to Central America, where she taught school and worked with a girls’ non-profit organization. Maria is focusing on international and criminal law studies while in law school.

Audrey is currently a 1L at American University. Originally from Indiana, she graduated from the University of Southern California in 2014, and moved to Bangalore, India to work with non-profit International Justice Mission on their bonded labor trafficking project. Upon moving back to the United States, Audrey began volunteering with the Immigrant Justice Program at a local pro bono legal clinic before coming to law school. She is planning to study both international human rights law and immigration law. Audrey enjoys running, Bollywood films, and exploring the crazy city that is DC!

Dolores Sinistaj is a rising 2L. She was born in Podgorica, Montenegro, but grew up in Michigan, where she graduated from Michigan State University. Before law school she interned for the homicide unit at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, and then interned at The White House. Dolores plans to pursue international/criminal law at AUWCL. She was a Junior Staff Writer, for Europe, Asia, and Oceana as a 1L.

Ericha is from Nashville, Tennessee. Between undergrad and law school, she spent 6 years working and traveling in preparation for law school. In 2012, Ericha worked on an independent documentary in Guatemala City, Guatemala titled Becoming Fools. She also spent two years teaching English and working in Shanghai, China. She plans to study international trade and investment law.

Allison Hein was born into a military family and spent her formative years moving around the world. She graduated from Skidmore College in 2015 with a B.S. in Management and Business and a B.A. in International Affairs. During her undergraduate studies, she competed in multiple Model United Nations and Model European Union conferences in the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands. Her legal interests include international human rights with a focus on gender equality.  She will graduate from WCL with a JD and AU SIS with a MA in 2018.
