Reprinting and Republishing Human Rights Brief articles
The Human Rights Brief is pleased to provide our articles cost-free in most cases, and, as long as the conditions outlined below are met, you are welcome to reprint and republish any article in any language from our website.

Republishing Online
In most cases, the Human Rights Brief article may be republished free of charge in an online publication under the following conditions:
- The author must be given proper credit and the author’s name must appear prominently with the article
- The following text must also appear prominently with the article: “This article originally appeared in the Human Rights Brief, www.hrbrief.org“
- The URL, www.hrbrief.org, in the preceding text must be a live link to http://hrbrief.org
- The URL of the republished article must be sent to online@hrbrief.org for our record keeping
Republishing in a Print Periodical
The Human Rights Brief article may be republished free of charge in in a print periodical (newspaper, magazine, etc.), so long as the following conditions are met:
- The author must be given proper credit and the author’s name must appear prominently with the article
- The following text must also appear prominently with the piece: “This article originally appeared in the Human Rights Brief, www.hrbrief.org“
- A fax of the republished article in print must be sent to at +1 202-274-4028 or scanned and emailed to online@hrbrief.org for our recordkeeping. Please make sure the title of the reprinting publication and the date of republication are clearly stated
